Webinars
March is the month of Women and Men.
The month in which we celebrate International Women’s Day is a good opportunity for topics related to the challenges faced by women to resonate loudly within organizations. Sometimes we all need a calendar excuse to initiate important, needed discussions.
But the challenges in today’s working world are not unisex. We believe that real change in organizational culture requires everyone’s involvement. That’s why our webinar proposal for the upcoming season goes beyond the traditional Women’s Day framework – you’ll also find proposals dedicated to men, including those on the challenges of modern fatherhood or the topic of vulnerability.
We believe there is value in each of these webinars for all who attend – regardless of gender, age, position or industry.
1 The imposter syndrome under the magnifying glass: self-confidence, competence and a sense of belonging.
Imposter syndrome is not just a matter of self-confidence – it is also shaped by competence, context and a sense of belonging. During the webinar, we look at what imposter syndrome is (and what it isn’t), whether it affects experts in their fields more often, and how self-confidence can be interpreted differently depending on the environment and expectations. Based on research and practical tools, we will discuss the gap between confidence and competence, the “likable vs. competent” dilemma, and the role of psychological safety.
2: Did they really say that? How to respond to microaggressions.
During the webinar, we look at what microaggressions are, their impact on individuals and communities, and practical strategies to help recognize, address and reduce them. We also discuss how to build more inclusive spaces and foster a respectful culture to create
a more equitable and supportive environment for all.
3 Words that heal: How language shapes our reality
Words have power – they can clip wings or give strength to fight. The speaker – as a person who has walked the path of cancer – knows the huge
importance of what we hear from others and what we say to ourselves. How we describe ourselves and our experience directly affects our emotions, decisions and daily functioning. There is a huge difference in whether we say, “I’m sick” and “I’m suffering,” or choose the narrative: “I am in the process of recovery.” Each of these phrases activates completely different resources in us, builds different attitudes toward life and work, and shapes our mental resilience.
4 Does Gender Matter? Gender Bias in the Workplace
The social roles ascribed to women and men are strongly embedded in culture and influence how we view ourselves and others – including in the
work environment. During the webinar, we look at conscious and unconscious beliefs, biases and gender stereotypes and how they
affect professional decisions, relationships and career development. We also discuss how gender bias manifests itself in everyday work, and what each and every one of us can do to more effectively counteract it and promote greater gender balance in the workplace.
5. the sensitivity of women and men in the modern world
Sensitivity is a concept that is sometimes understood in different ways – from emotionality and empathy, to the way we process and experience stimuli. During the webinar
we explain what sensitivity is from the perspective of psychology and neuroscience research, and how it fits into contemporary understandings of femininity and masculinity. We combine knowledge of biological sex differences, evolutionary mechanisms and gender identity, showing how unconscious beliefs and stereotypes affect how we perceive sensitivity – in ourselves and others.
6 Fatherhood. How to transmit positive social role models to children
Neurodiversity is gaining increasing public recognition, and with this comes a growing need to educate and implement neuro-inclusive practices in the workplace,
that increase team effectiveness and engagement. The webinar connects this perspective to child-rearing issues, looking at how
parental attitudes, male role models and sharing of care affect a child’s social, emotional development and identity. Those attending will learn practical
tips to support children’s development and promote a conscious, participatory approach to parenting.
7 Unconscious attitudes vs. personal brand: How perception shapes reality
How do unconscious biases – our own and others’ – affect personal branding and professional identity? Your professional image is shaped not only by your skills, but also by how others perceive and interpret your work. In this webinar, we look at the intersection of self-perception, external perception and unconscious biases, discovering how these mechanisms affect how we are perceived and how we build our personal brand. We consider how to deal with biases, build an authentic image and consciously shape our narrative in our personal and professional lives.
8 The power of habits: How small changes in behavior lead to real progress
Big changes don’t require revolution, but evolution. During the webinar, we’ll look at the mechanisms behind the habit loop and how small, daily changes in behavior can help build a consistent professional presence and better collaboration in the workplace. We’ll also discuss how our habits sometimes fall short of our stated goals, and show practical ways to make small changes that promote consistency, regularity and more conscious action in the professional environment.
